Acoustic Doors

Improving the acoustic properties between two spaces reduces noise disturbance. Acoustic doors provide higher acoustic comfort and, depending on the type of door, increased confidentiality. Additionally, combinations with fire-resistant properties are possible.

We distinguish 3 types of acoustic doors:

  • DCA: These are acoustic wooden revolving doors in a wooden frame.
  • DMA: These are acoustic wooden revolving doors in a metal frame.
  • Hawa Suono: These are acoustic sliding doors.

Overview of Acoustic Doors:
The tables below provide an overview of our various types of acoustic doors. The specified Rw values are laboratory-measured acoustic performances of a door assembly (door leaf + frame) that can be opened and closed normally, including the clearances between the door and the frame, but excluding the acoustic performance of the wall.

In the SAS setup, an acoustic test was conducted on 2 revolving doors installed in the same wooden frame and mounted as a SAS setup with a 100 mm gap between the two doors.
